Keith Elementary spreading love for Valentine’s Day through Cereal Box Challenge

The Keith Elementary student council made it their goal to spread love throughout the community in honor of Valentine’s Day and they did just that by collected nearly 900 boxes of cereal for local food pantries.

The Dragons created their Cereal Box Challenge with a goal of collecting enough boxes to build a domino run around the school. On Valentine’s Day, students lined the hallways to watch the cereal box domino run tumble down the halls to cheers as they well surpassed their goal of collecting 500 boxes of cereal.

Throughout the month, students also made posters and began conversations about the importance of helping to provide food to people in the surrounding community during times of need.
