Michelle Fiebke-Lang will serve as interim principal at Keith Elementary

The Walled Lake Consolidated Schools’ administration named Michelle Fiebke-Lang Keith Elementary’s interim principal. Her first day will be September 8.

“I am eager to work in partnership with the many dedicated staff, students and families at Keith Elementary,” said Fiebke-Lang. “Together, I am certain we will build a positive culture and empower every student to learn and be their personal best.”

Fiebke-Lang comes to Keith Elementary with over 30 years of experience in elementary education. She taught in Walled Lake Consolidated Schools for 18 years before transitioning into administration, where she served as principal at Mary Helen Guest Elementary for eight years before her retirement in 2021. Since her retirement, Fiebke-Lang has continued to support local area school districts in various leadership capacities.

“Michelle Fiebke-Lang brings both immense experience and a strong bond with Walled Lake Consolidated Schools,” said Dr. Michael Lonze, Superintendent of Schools. “We are grateful for her leadership and are confident she will provide strong support to the staff, students and families at Keith Elementary during this transition.”
