Walled Lake Western alumnus Cody White (’17) raised the Lombardi Trophy on Sunday night in Santa Clara, California after winning Super Bowl LX with the Seattle Seahawks.

The Seahawks dominated the New England Patriots with stellar defensive play to win their second Super Bowl in franchise history, 29-13.
White, who was named Michigan Mr. Football in 2016, helped lead Walled Lake Western to a runner-up finish in the MHSAA Division 2 State Championship as a senior.
Earlier this season, White scored his first career NFL touchdown reigning in a 60-yard pass on November 2 in a 38-14 win against the Washington Commanders. Unfortunately, White was later placed on the Seahawks injured reserved suffering a season-ending groin injury in Week 17.
